TITLE: RN-Surgical Services Manager
LOCATION: West of Casper, WY

The facility is just under 100 beds and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, is licensed by the state of Wyoming, and is approved for the acceptance of Medicare patients. Facility is a Level II Emergency Room, a Level II Nursery and a Behavioral Health Program.
The System Surgical Services Manager provides leadership through collaboration with the Nursing Director of the department in planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the care provided for the patient in the unit.
Responsibilities include fiscal, human resource, risk management, and operational functions.
The Nurse Manager contributes to strategic planning and program development and maintains 24 hour accountability.
The Nurse Manager delegates duties and functions within the philosophy and overall scope of responsibility.
The Nurse Manager will rotate management oversight at each campus withthe Nursing Director.
The Nurse Manager also provides professional nursing care to the patients admitted in all Perioperative Services areas.
They assess and document various clinical conditions and vital signs of the patient.
The Nurse Manager administer prescribed medication and record changes and response of the patient.
Has knowledge of and is able to utilize equipment and supplies in and around the perioperative and infusion areas.
They assist physicians and staff in the care of patients in the following areas: PAT, preoperative, intraoperative, postoperative, central sterile processing, environmental services, Infusion, Surgery/Infusion scheduling, and procuring supplies.
The Nurse Manager maintain compliance with all policies and protocols of the hospital.
RN Licensure from the State of Wyoming
Minimum 2 years experience in perioperative/surgical areas to include both clinical and leadership.
Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire
This position offer a salary between 60K-90K depending on experience. They also offer a temporary housing allowance, relocation and a retention bonus plus great benefits.
